IHAF Awards: The Results Are In!

For months, the IHAF team has been busy gathering, organizing and admiring nearly 700 entries submitted by 77 in-house agencies in anticipation of the judging event for the 2018 IHAF Awards. And, the results are in!

Last week, a panel of 13 experts pored over every part and piece of your illustrious work to determine who will walk away from this year’s IHAF Awards Show with Gold trophies, Silver and Honorable Mention certificates, and who will receive the coveted crystal for Best of Show.

Our judging event included a group who assembled virtually to review your digital submissions (websites, social media, emails and apps) while others convened in person to evaluate print and video—a roomful of masterworks from environmental designs to integrated campaigns. We even added three new categories this year: Social Content, Infographics and Creative Collaboration.

After a full day of scoring, Melissa Labrecque, Creative Services Director with Amica Mutual Insurance reflected. “Participating in the judging event was a great experience. The IHAF team did a nice job organizing the process and the day.” As for selecting this year’s Best of Show winner, Melissa added, “All of the creative was very well executed and, of course, there were those that rose to the top. The Best of Show selection was unanimous, which was cool.”

The judges have done their part, now it’s time for you to do yours! Join us on November 8-9 for the 2018 IHAF Conference & Awards Show where you can put your hands together and congratulate the winners. (You may even walk away with a win or two of your own!)

We’re gathering someplace new this year, the Aloft Boston Seaport in Boston—a spacious venue with stylish décor and well-appointed accommodations for those traveling from out of town. We’ve sold two-thirds of our tickets to date, so be sure to register soon.

We look forward to celebrating with you!
