The In-House Agency Forum (IHAF) is committed to protecting the privacy of our members' personal information. This Policy explains how we gather and use the information that we collect from IHAF's website, located at www.ihaforum.org. This policy is subject to change over time. Amendments to this statement will be posted at this URL and will be effective when posted. Your continued use of this site following the posting of any amendment, modification, or change shall constitute your acceptance thereof.

Collection and Use of Information

When members register on www.ihaforum.org, the site collects several types of information including name, title, company name, mailing address, phone number, and email address. The manner in which this information is used is summarized below:

Access Privileges

Information collected during registration is used to verify that users have the rights to access IHAF's members-only content and that individuals qualify for various member discounts and/or promotions.

Communications

The IHAF website offers educational programs and events that may be of use to individual in-house agency managers and their employees to develop new skills. Information from registration may be used to determine whom to contact, typically via email, with an invitation to participate.

Site Monitoring and Maintenance

Information from member registration is used to measure the traffic of various sections of the site. This information is used on an aggregate level only; the site does not record the specific content viewed by an individual user.

We may also employ other companies and/or individuals to perform functions on our behalf. Examples include fulfilling orders, delivering packages, sending postal mail and/or email, removing repetitive information from customer lists, analyzing data, providing marketing assistance (including direct and targeted marketing), processing credit card payments, and providing customer service. They have access to personal information needed to perform such functions, but may not use it for other purposes.

In certain circumstances, we may share member information with trusted service providers who need access to such information in order to provide operational or other support. We also may provide information to regulatory authorities and law enforcement officials in accordance with applicable laws or when we otherwise believe in good faith that the law requires it.

Your personal information collected during site registration or when you sign-up for IHAF membership will not be sold to third parties for email marketing or telemarketing campaigns.

Use of IP Address

We may use your IP Address to help diagnose problems with our server, and to administer our site.

E-Commerce Transactions

IHAF offers a wide variety of products and services that may be offered either directly or through an affiliate acting on behalf of IHAF, or by third parties with whom we have established links from our site to make their products and services available to you.

E-Commerce Transactions

When you place an order online through IHAF's website, your personal details and credit card information are scrambled using industry-standard SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) encryption technology before being transmitted via the Internet. We contract an outside payment service called yourpay.com that processes all credit card transactions on their secure site. Although we cannot guarantee encryption or the privacy of your personal details and credit card information, SSL makes it very difficult for your information to be stolen or intercepted while being transferred.

All credit card transactions are maintained by Mercurcy (www.mercurypay.com). All information sent to Mercury is encrypted, which will protect it against disclosure to third parties. When we receive your order, it remains encrypted until Mercury is ready to process it. For further information about Mercury's privacy and security practices, please visit www.mercurypay.com.

Memberships and Registration for Events and Seminars: Credit card transactions made with IHAF (which may include membership applications and/or event registrations) are encrypted via Mercury's SSL certificate. All credit card information is retained by Mercury, and does not leave the Mercury network. Transactions are handled on Mercury's server with SSL encryption.

Membership Agreement

Once an application for membership has been submitted and the individual requesting membership has received access to IHAF's proprietary material, that person or person's company is responsible for all fees associated with membership. Membership with IHAF is a 12-month term, which does not auto-renew. Credit card information is not stored by IHAF. Annual membership cannot be cancelled once member credentials have been issued by IHAF.

Event Registration

Paid registration to IHAF events will be fully refunded if notice of cancellation is submitted to IHAF in writing at least two weeks prior to the date of the event. Paid registration is not transferrable to future events.

Award Submissions

Any and all awards submissions are final once paid for and cannot be refunded or transferred.

Affiliate Websites

Affiliate websites (designated by the "powered by" logo) are responsible for their own policies and procedures during e-commerce transactions. Review the vendor's policy regarding e-commerce transactions on affiliate websites. IHAF is not responsible for products and services transactions that are consummated at third-party websites.

Advertisers

Advertisers on IHAF's website, which may include traditional banner-style ads, listings in directories or advertisements in newsletters, are responsible for their own policies and procedures during e-commerce transactions. We recommend that you review the vendor's policy regarding e-commerce transactions on advertiser websites. IHAF is not responsible for product and/or service transactions that are consummated through advertiser websites.
