Got Disruption? Time to Shift!

Each year, IHAF spends considerable time chatting with members about what’s topical for them in order to align on a theme for our annual conference. This year, disruption emerged as a common thread—specifically, the factors that are shaping today’s marketing landscape and how in-house agencies are shifting in response. That’s why this year’s conference is entitled SHIFT—focused on the unexpected changes and unrelenting surges that are redefining the industry.

Though planning is still underway, we’re pleased to announce Teresa Herd, VP and Global Creative Director at Intel Corporation as one of our three keynote speakers. In Teresa’s session, Say No to the Status Quo, we’ll hear about how the award-winning internal agency at Intel is demystifying tech and disrupting the status quo to propel the brand and the bottom line.

Teresa is responsible for defining Intel’s global creative vision. This includes providing creative expertise and leadership across all communications channels worldwide while increasing brand value and product demand. Over the past three years, Teresa has built a multi-functional in-house team called Agency Inside as well as a production and content-creation organization, Intel Global Production Lab.

In addition to this featured presentation, we’re in the throes of confirming an assortment of others. From pivots to pain points, we’re serving up sessions and speakers that are focused on what in-house agencies need to do to remain competitive in today’s transitional marketplace. Be sure to visit our event site often, as sessions and speakers are announced throughout the summer.

Speaking of SHIFT, we’re shifting something else this year with the 2018 IHAF Conference & Awards Show held at a brand-new venue—the Aloft Hotel in the stylish Seaport District of Boston, MA. Tickets are available now with early-bird savings of $150 for IHAF members who register by July 31. Book your hotel room by October 7 and you’ll also receive a discounted rate on your stay.

Join us for SHIFT on November 8-9, where we’ll explore the changing face of marketing and how in-house agencies are shifting to keep pace.
