Time for “Fitness” Training

How many of you made a new year’s resolution to join a gym and get fit? It’s a common theme this time of year. Unfortunately, simply joining a gym isn’t enough (I wish). You have put in the time and do the work. Well, your IHAF membership is the same. In order to get the most out of it, you have to take advantage of the tools and events (the weights and spin classes, as it were) that we offer throughout the year.

One of our Board members came up with that analogy several years ago and I’ve used it, as Executive Director, ever since. Joining IHAF can be overwhelming at first—with our monthly webinars, regional discussion groups, conferences and awards, not to mention our benchmarking studies, LinkedIn group and library of resources full of job descriptions, org charts and briefing templates. All of these goodies are yours to take advantage of as often as you like when your company joins IHAF, including access for the entire team. So how do you make sure your in-house agency gets the most out of its membership with IHAF?

This Thursday we’re hosting Optimizing Your Membership—a one-hour webinar that will walk through everything you need to know to take full advantage of your membership with IHAF. From our member benefits to how to use our website to connecting with other in-house agencies in your local area. Think of it as a personal training session to boost the fitness of your in-house agency.

Register on your own or with your entire team. (You might even consider scheduling a viewing party in a conference room, complete with drinks and popcorn!) At IHAF, we want to help you make the most of 2015. Commit to “working out” with us all year long, starting with this week’s session.
