Real Patients. Real Stories. Real Collaboration.

Telling your company’s brand story can sometimes seem like a life-or-death proposition. For Baylor Scott & White Health, one of the largest not-for-profit health care systems in the country, their brand IS life or death. And they've spent years perfecting the process of storytelling...navigating the communications landscape and aligning internal and external providers.

As their “Real Patients. Real Stories.”campaign enters its eighth year, the in-house agency at Baylor Scott & White Health is graciously sharing its best practices. I can tell you as a witness to and participant on their journey, the team at Baylor never stops refining and improving their relationships so their brand message gets stronger and their mission is fulfilled.

internal external collaboration

At Abernethy Media Professionals (AMP), we are honored to be a part of a campaign that Baylor Scott & White’s brand manager Ted McAfee says, “…allows patients to tell their story, which is also our story.” And we’re equally proud to be presenting alongside Ted and his colleague, senior video producer and director Clare Rabe DeBoever, at next week’s IHAF Huddle on Internal/External Collaboration.

Join us on June 12th as we talk about how our long-running partnership resulted in a successful campaign that includes other external providers—resulting in everything from TV spots and web videos to billboards and direct mail. We’ll share the lessons we’ve learned about process, communication, and of course, collaboration.

We’ll be huddling next Friday from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the AMP studio, just east of downtown Dallas. For event details including registration information, click here. We look forward to seeing you!
