It may sound strange to talk about presence in a remote communication webinar, since the one thing we are not right now is physically present with one another. But if you define presence as the impression you make, you can find ways to improve your “executive presence,” even at a distance. In this highly interactive session, executive coach Shawn Fagan of GK Training will review concrete skills to boost the impressions you make without being in the same room with others—things like bedrock remote-communication habits, on-camera techniques, the five P’s of vocal variety, three steps for interjecting effectively, and the role of kinesthetic learning. Aside from camera skills, all of these are transferable to in-person communication when we get back to doing that again.
