IHAF’s In-House Agency of the Year is the only award of its kind, recognizing the unique contributions of internal agencies and creative services organizations.
Each year, IHAF announces new entry criteria for the award upon which submissions will be judged. The entry period runs from April through June, with applications accepted from in-house teams of all sizes and varieties.
Deadline for Nominations
Nominations must be received via our online nomination form no later than August 30, 2019. Nominations received after August 30, 2019 will not be accepted.
Any internal advertising agency or corporate creative services organization may submit their “story” as it pertains to the criteria defined by IHAF for that year. All nomination forms must be submitted electronically by the stated deadline. Nominations are based on in-house agency performance from January 1 to December 31, 2018.
Following the entry deadline, nomination forms along with any additional material submitted are reviewed by a panel of 4-5 judges, comprised of in-house agency executives and leaders in the advertising/marketing community.
Nominees are evaluated individually and scored via a points system on recorded ballots, with each judge submitting a ballot to the IHAF program team. Judges have the opportunity to include comments on their ballots, which may be referenced in the presentation of the awards and/or provided as feedback to the nominees.
In the event of a tie, the judging panel assembles to discuss the entries and determine a winner.
IHAF Members: $150 per nomination
Non-Members: $300 per nomination
Nomination fees may be paid online by credit card or by requesting an invoice during the nomination submittal proccess. All entry fees are non-refundable. Entries will not be judged unless full payment is received by the submission deadline.
Winning In-House Agency
Three finalists are announced at the IHAF Conference & Awards on November 13-14, 2019. Of those, one will be named the 2019 In-House Agency of the Year. The In-House Agency of the Year is presented with an inscribed crystal trophy, and the two finalists receive framed certificates. The winner and two finalists will also be announced to the IHAF community via email and the IHAF website.
IHAF assumes that all nominations are original, with all the information and/or work being the rightful property of the nominating company, with all rights granted therein. IHAF is not liable for copyright infringement on the part of the nominee and will not engage in copyright disputes. Materials submitted for entry will not be returned.
