IHAF Roundtables on DE&I

As more and more brands take a stand on political and civil issues, Diversity, Equity & Inclusion have become increasingly important to advertisers, marketers and consumers. Employers and employees alike are not only recognizing the need for demonstrable change, they’re stepping up to make it happen.

In our 2021 Roundtable series, we’ll explore Diversity, Equity & Inclusion in the world and in the work we do as marketers. From the resources we hire to the stories we tell to the images we choose to tell them, each of us has the power to advance unity and belonging by actively embracing the diversity of all people.

Join us for an exchange of ideas and experiences on how to champion Diversity, Equity & Inclusion in the workplace. Facilitated by DE&I strategic consultant Leslie Wingo, President & CEO of Sanders\Wingo.

Roundtables are open to in-house agency professionals and series sponsors only.

Facilitator

Leslie Wingo, President & CEO, Sanders\Wingo

Leslie leads Sanders\Wingo, a multicultural creative intelligence firm focused on cultivating human connections through brand storytelling, strategy and content development. Leslie partners with leading corporate brands to discover and strengthen their practices around diversity and equity. Her goal is that every employee is valued, their contribution is maximized and the company's culture is inclusive.

As a speaker, Leslie confronts stereotypes, challenges labels, exposes bias, and has tough conversations around race and gender. She also believes in philanthropy, giving her time to organizations whose values align with her own like the Texas Book Festival, New Philanthropists and Ceresa. Her most important role is raising her little humans, ages 4 and 8. They are her biggest gift (and sometimes biggest challenge).

— Jarrett King,
Head of Creative Services & Operations, ResMed

"I really appreciate the honesty during the presentations. It was very helpful to learn how other companies have moved through some of the challenges."

— Joe Roach,
Studio Production Manager, Rust-Oleum

"Although the smallest company in the room, I gathered much useful info from the case studies as well as the discussions."

— Patricia Moore,
Executive Director, Bandera County CVB
