Andy Dean
Creative Director and Vice President, City Year, Inc.
Most nights, Andy wears a cape and mask and plays Superdad. By day, however, he can be found at City Year, where he oversees the non-profit’s visual brand identity. Andy started at City Year in 2002, leading a team of diverse, young City Year Boston corps members. Previously, he worked in the Detroit area, teaching and working with children to develop creative expression in both visual arts and literacy. Over the years, Andy has also worked with a variety of other non-profits and local businesses on branding including Bella Luna Restaurant, Dewees Island, Michigan Audubon Society, StudentsFirst, and Year Up.
Emily Foster
Director, IHAF
As Director, Emily is responsible for the advancement of IHAF—the leading professional membership association for internal agencies. In her current role, Emily focuses on delivering member benefits and thought leadership content as well as cultivating community to enhance the influence and impact of corporate advertising and creative organizations. Previously, Emily was Associate Director and prior to that Program Manager for IHAF, where she coordinated targeted research, events and networking on behalf of members.
David Moll
Senior Manager, Operations, Discover Financial Services
David is responsible for asset, resource and external agency management, as well as oversight of INCITE, Discover’s internal creative agency—named the 2015 In-House Agency of the Year. Previously, David served as Group Creative Manager at Discover where he developed brand guidelines and delivered strategic, creative solutions for new product launches, direct marketing campaigns, promotions and sponsorships. Before Discover, David was a senior writer at Frankel in Chicago, where he crafted copy for Visa USA and Visa International promotional campaigns.
Judy Neer
President and CEO, Pile and Company
Pile and Company is a management consultancy that helps clients make their marketing resources and relationships better. As President and CEO, Judy oversees all divisions of Pile, ensuring the highest levels of client satisfaction while driving the company’s strategic plan. Prior to Pile, Judy spent 20 years in the ad agency industry at Hill, Holliday, Connors, Cosmopulos, Emerson Lane Fortuna and Ingalls Advertising where she served as SVP, Director of Client Services and SVP, General Manager. Her clients included Massachusetts Office of Travel and Tourism, TJX Corporation, Raytheon, Thom McCann, CVS/Pharmacy, The Boston Globe and others.
Joa Pope
Senior Manager, Marketing Operations, Publix Super Markets
Joa is Senior Manager of Marketing Operations for Publix Super Markets—the largest employee-owned grocery chain in the US. At Publix, Joa directs a team of professionals to support the marketing and in-house creative operations of omni-channel advertising campaigns, private-label packaging, digital and content marketing, and store environmental design. She is also responsible for marketing process improvements, training and development, organizational operations, marketing financial management, and technology implementation. Joa also sits on the IHAF Board of Directors.
